Is nss-mdns something we should install? "WARNING: No NSS support for mDNS detected, consider installing nss-mdns!" Actually, no. mDNS support is part of Avahi, which is in turn part of mDNSresponder which is an Apple thing supported by Linux to allow others to connect to you. Ummm ... we don't want that in KNOS since it's a security problem. That's why Avahi is complaining - we won't allow it to do that.

Gotch ya. I was just looking thru the logs looking for anything that might be of use to you. VERY much appreciated! I'm glad that so far at least everything that's turning up was either known or dealt with already. By all means, keep looking ... properly working is very important to us!
