While the KNOS64 32G stick is making on the desktop, and trying the other 32G stick,as well as the two 8G Kingstons, on KNOS32 Lenovo, I got this error on trying to reboot the Lenove from running KNOS32 on disc to the KNOS32 hard-drive install:
[date time] init: some processess would not die; ps axl advised
A long time ago you gave an explanation on "ps axl", (http://knosproject.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=supportbeta2&action=display&thread=37) and the situation (attempting reboot) is the same - just haven't seen it in almost two years. As before, no problem - just did the hard-off and then boot.

Ah yes ... I remember that one. Turned out to be caused by the firewall on shutdown. What happens is when the system is shut down, everything gets shutdown and if somehow the firewall gets taken out before everything else, once the firewall is shut down, nothing ... and I mean nothing else will get passed, including additional shutdowns of any running programs that refuse to shut down when told to. System still shuts down, but there will be a complaint from the "init" process which is the last thing to shut down.
Won't affect anything, but that's why. No firewall, no more internal communication ... at all.
