As you said earlier, KNOS is a "self contained read only OS" and "a thoroughly secure means of accessing the internet and being able to go anywhere, do anything with complete safety" , so I'm not worried about the 'Bad Guys' being able to damage my computer or stick, BUT what is keeping them from logging keystrokes-passwords- account #'s- etc....? Something I certainly like the idea of- if it actually works as stated - is the key scrambler so that the Bad Guys can log all they want but all they are getting is random mush. Is it possible to add something like: "KeyScrambler Personal encrypts your keystrokes at the kernel driver level to protect your information from keyloggers." addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3383/to KNOS so that not only will the Bad Guys not be able to do physical damage, but they won't be able to scrape any useful info either?

Sorry to say, the bad news is that anti-keyloggers can't work in KNOS because there are no hooks for them to grab onto. The good news is that keyloggers won't work either. The KeyScrambler app is for Windows only which has more hooks than a pro fisherman's tackle box. So there's actually no need whatsoever for such protections.
This isn't to say that keylogging is impossible in *nix systems although BSD makes it *far* more difficult to do than Linux. There's a keylogging app for *nix' called "ttyrpld" available but in order to build a keylogger, you actually have to rewrite the kernel with their patch code added to it. Hope folks will forgive us if we choose not to.
Therefore, the only real way to keylog a KNOS user would be to use one of those plugin hardware keylogger devices between the keyboard and the machine. However even THOSE require an app (not supported by KNOS) to read the captured keys inside the device, OR (since KNOS won't cooperate) they would have to repeatedly break in and physically swap the keylogger device any time it filled up, giving you the opportunity to check your marksmanship (assuming you have a gun). Heh.
