Back on July 16 you said:
"so I've flung it back to the BSD kernel people who are insanely busy themselves ... hopefully, that ACPI problem will be fixed before we release the next build. "
so am just letting you know the shut down problem is still there with KNOS2.

The BSD 8.1 release came and went, and they apparently did fix it so I'm told. Unfortunately, we discovered some problems in their new kernel and ran out of time as far as getting our B2 out before B1 expired and so we had to stick with what we had prior for this one. As soon as we resolve the problems with their kernel and the Gnome 2.30 which it requires, we'll have another build out as quickly as we can. Sorry about that!
