I left KNOS2 up on the laptop for a few hours while I was working on the desktop, and to my surprise KNOS shut down and rebooted all by itself. The laptop is not overly warm so it is not heat related. Came up fine, but I have no idea why it decided to reboot.

When remaining memory gets tight, KNOS will try to shut down things that you haven't been using for a while to prevent that from happening, but looks like it hit a wall somehow. If that happens to you again, when the machine comes back up, run the diagnostics and get me a copy. It should snag the culprit for us. If it's the lappie that kicked, I see from your previous that you have 2 gigs which should be more than plenty and so my own mystification there as well. But the diagnostics should catch the trigger for the reboot and tell me why if you can grab that next time it happens.

Yes, it was the laptop. If I does it again I'll fire off a new diags.

I suspect the cause of that might have been something Firefox tripped over if you were copying in the raw files instead of using the archive method to store your stuff ... but I'll be waiting on ya if you need me ...

Well, I thought I was going to send you a fresh diags. It did happen again, (I was getting ready to try the new method instead of the whole .moz folder) and I told myself to be sure to get the new diags to you - but one problem.... it locked up so hard that the only way out was the hard-off then restart, which leaves me with a fresh and clean diags with no trace of the problem. So I'll have to rephrase that to "I'll fire off a new diags - if I can!"
