I'm attaching a pic from digital camera. It's kinda dark but if you blow it up you can make it out. The boot process is different this time. Knos boots up so far then my pc reboots and windows comes up instead. The pic is right before it reboots. Attachments:

There's definitely a problem in the BIOS, probably a bad pointer or two. We've gotten quite a few Toshiba BIOS' cleared with the final acpi_toshiba that the BSD folks did. That's the last revision they're doing until later this year I'm sorry to report. They need to get their hands on one of those machines to be able to do much more on it unfortunately. For the geeky types among us, we're getting a pointer out of the TV driver portion of ACPI in the BIOS which is causing a literal divide by zero in there, and it's a bad instruction written into BIOS pointing to a feature that doesn't exist on your machine. Windows would choke on it also were it not for the fact that when it was installed, it just passed right over that. Once installed, Windows never reads that deep in BIOS again, so it won't affect Windows. We have to every time you boot though. In this RC1, we've added quite a few powerful tools that will help us at least find out what specifically is wrong in some BIOS' but we need to be able to get to either a console login prompt or the desktop in order to be able to use it. I'll see what I can dig up since we're going to have to do another release before our "formal it's ready" release, so I'll try to figure it out if I can. But BSD did their final 8.2 the other day (which only slightly improves upon what's in our RC1) so maybe they've got it, but I doubt it ...
