Hello kevin & nancy, I just saw your announcement about the "final" on DSLReports, and wanted to congratulate you on your great accomplishment!! All the best of good luck, and fortune.
As to my subject,I was wondering if you will be at some time putting together a tutorial on how to run/install your OS specifically relating to a Windows OS.I did not see anything like that on your site,or forum, but if I missed it please forgive me for my mistake!
Thanks,,

Hello kevin & nancy, I just saw your announcement about the "final" on DSLReports, and wanted to congratulate you on your great accomplishment!! All the best of good luck, and fortune. As to my subject,I was wondering if you will be at some time putting together a tutorial on how to run/install your OS specifically relating to a Windows OS.I did not see anything like that on your site,or forum, but if I missed it please forgive me for my mistake! Thanks,, Greetings and thanks for the kind words! You'll be pleased to know that KNOS doesn't require an installation, all you need to do is burn the file that you download to a DVD or wait for your DVD containing KNOS already on it to arrive. From there, all you need to do is boot the machine from the DVD instead of your hard disk and KNOS takes care of everything from there. Once it comes up, we designed it to be incredibly intuitive and familiar to people who are already used to Windows or OSX and the browser icon is already there on the desktop waiting for you to take you directly to our portal once you connect. We've placed instructions already on this page: www.knosproject.com/support.htmlThere, how to burn the DVD and how to boot it is explained along with quick explanations for possible questions in getting KNOS up and running. Once it's up, each and every application comes with detailed help files explaining how to use them. The support page mentioned above will expand over time when we encounter the need to explain anything further, but the key part of our design to begin with was to make KNOS feel VERY familiar from the first boot and make sure that anything someone would want to do is as obvious as possible without the need to refer to instruction manuals that few people read anyway.
