During boot, the line appears:
"Cannot find USB"
but upon completion of boot, I can still do the delete Firefox folder-Copy Firefox folder from usb routine, so it is reading the usb fine as far as I can tell.
(I haven't yet made the KNOS3 usb stick)

(I haven't yet made the KNOS3 usb stick) I believe you'll be seeing that right after it loads "Cuse4bsd" towards the end of the bootup and that one simply means that it went to look for a USB-based webcam for use with Skype and didn't find a USB webcam plugged in. Like I've said before, those diagnostics are intense and should be ignored UNLESS KNOS doesn't boot. If it boots, then all conditions are satisfied, but every single step of the decision processes during bootup are showing in this beta build JUST in case it doesn't boot for somebody.
