That ole bugaboo is still here in KNOS3 - Laptop still doesn't shut down completely - have to still do the hard-off manual routine. Sounds like we'll want to see those diagnostics again - they'll contain a LOT more info than the older ones did. Ctrl+R to refresh your desktop if the "diags" file doesn't appear all by its lonesome. The ACPI stuff which controls all that was heavily updated by the BSD folks, but they're STILL working on fixes since a lot of that underlying code has changed with the recent "cheap machines" designs by many manufacturers. I was hoping they had fixed what was a problem for you before, but looks like that one is still "open" ... get me the diagnostics be email to support at knosproject.com and I'll have a look and pass it along to the BSD kernel developers. I might have to get back to you for more details but I suspect the diags file will have what they need this time.

I probably did it wrong, but I don't think mine is listed there - at least I didn't find it.

I probably did it wrong, but I don't think mine is listed there - at least I didn't find it. Problem report on BSD/Lenovo ACPI is still open unfortunately. No idea of when they're going to resolve it given that the problem *is* an ACPI problem that they're trying to work around if at all possible. Sorry to be the bearer, they ARE trying to solve it if they can.
